The shaking incubator is configured for processes requiring thermal incubation and controlled orbital movement over extended periods. It must provide a minimum speed range of 40 to 300 rpm, temperature of 4 to 65°C, resolution of 0.1°C and stability of ±0.1°C.
The drive system must employ a brushless induction motor or equivalent technology, provided it guarantees continuous operation, orbit stability and sufficient load capacity to support heavy sediment loads during continuous operation.
The configuration incorporates door safety, restart after power outages, stainless steel sanitary chamber, spill management, humidity management, simultaneous digital display of critical variables, and set-point deviation alarms.
Functional application: the platform must be able to simultaneously hold between twelve (12) and eighteen (18) 250 mL Erlenmeyer flasks, with a clamping system compatible with 250 mL flasks and glass bottles.
